BH LINEN’s Pure Linen Fabric 18.5 oz/y² Natural is an extra-heavyweight pure linen fabric woven from 100% European flax at 18.5 oz/yd² — among the heaviest weights in our collection. This canvas-weight linen has exceptional rigidity, durability, and a dense, firm hand that makes it the premier choice for demanding upholstery, structural, and industrial-scale soft goods applications.

Suited for premium furniture upholstery, heavy slipcovers, custom sofas and armchairs, structured tote bags and satchels, market bags, aprons, canvas wall art, room dividers, and decorative panels. The extreme weight provides sound-dampening properties and exceptional resistance to wear, making it an investment-grade fabric for heirloom pieces.

Dry clean or spot clean for upholstered pieces. For unseamed projects, machine wash cold on gentle and line dry. This fabric requires a sharp needle (size 16–18) and a walking foot for sewing. Available by the yard from BH LINEN’s heavyweight pure linen collection.
