Pure Linen Fabric 5.5 oz/y² (Light Rust)

BH LINEN’s Pure Linen Fabric 5.5 oz/y² Light Rust is a versatile 100% pure linen fabric woven from European flax at 5.5 oz/yd² — the most popular weight range for a wide variety of sewing projects. The balanced plain weave produces a smooth, slightly textured surface with excellent drape and a semi-crisp hand that relaxes and softens with wear and washing.

This medium-weight pure linen fabric is ideal for linen shirts and pants, summer dresses and skirts, light jackets, unlined blazers, tablecloths and napkins, curtain panels, throw pillow covers, tote bags, and wall hangings. Versatile enough for both structured tailoring and relaxed, drapey silhouettes depending on how it is cut and sewn.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle or hand wash. Tumble dry low or line dry. Pre-washing is recommended to achieve maximum softness and to account for initial shrinkage. A pure linen fabric by the yard, available in a wide range of colors from BH LINEN.
