Linen/Silk Blend Fabric (Clay)

BH LINEN’s Linen/Silk Blend Fabric Clay is a premium linen-silk blend fabric that combines European flax with natural silk to create an exceptionally refined, lustrous fabric with a fluid drape and luxurious hand feel. The silk content adds a soft sheen and smoothness while the linen base provides natural texture, breathability, and structure.

This linen-silk blend fabric is well suited for elevated garment sewing — blouses, bias-cut dresses, evening separates, structured skirts, and light blazers — as well as premium home décor including decorative pillow covers, window scarves, and table runners where a refined, natural-fiber aesthetic is desired. The fabric photographs beautifully under natural light.

Dry clean recommended, or hand wash cold in mild detergent and lay flat to dry. Do not wring. Press with a warm iron using a pressing cloth to protect the silk component. A luxury linen-silk blend fabric by the yard from BH LINEN.

Linen may shrink approximately 3–7% during the first wash depending on finishing. Some of our fabrics are pre-washed and pre-shrunk, as stated in the "Finish" spec of the product description.
